Description:
The PEUREUX Distillery, founded in 1864 in Fougerolles in the Vosges, specialises in the production of fruit brandies, including the famous Fougerolles kirsch, brandies which quickly gained a great reputation. The work of the master distiller begins in the heart of the orchards to observe the crops and select the best fruit, the only raw material.
The fermented fruit is then distilled in copper stills, designed in-house. These stills allow large quantities of fruit to be distilled in a single operation to obtain the best quality brandy, using a unique process.
Powerful and lively when it leaves the still, the eau-de-vie acquires its suppleness and roundness during the maturation process and offers a true authentic fruit flavour.
Griottines, from a registered recipe, have a flavour, a texture of real whole fruit and a low alcohol sweetness that is a winner.
