Goose confit legs are a speciality of the Périgord region, rarer and even more tasty than duck confit legs. The flesh of the Goose is, in fact, nobler and more renowned for its finesse than that of the duck. This subtle confit exists in two formats: 1 leg or 2 legs. Our Goose Confit is cooked according to the traditional recipe: in its natural state, slowly and delicately in its fat in order to tenderly confit it.

Confit d'Oie is one of the best known and most appreciated of all the gastronomic specialities of our region, even if Confit de Canard often overshadows it.

It is true that there are many geese in our country!

There are not many of us, among the canners, who nowadays propose a Confit d'Oie, a recipe inherited from our grandmothers.

And yet, finer and more delicate than Duck Confit, Goose Confit is particularly appreciated by gourmets and lovers of authentic and natural flavours of the past.

The goose legs we use for this recipe are from the Périgord and have been chosen for their quality, which allows us to prepare a particularly tender and tasty quality dish!

They are cooked simply, with salt and pepper (and no nitrite salt), without colouring or preservatives, just as our mother taught us to cook them. And it is this recipe that makes the difference.
