The Croquants aux noix are small cakes that live up to their name. Indeed, they are made from chopped walnut kernels from the Périgord region, which give them their crunchy texture, mixed with vanilla sugar and cream, resulting in a smooth, tasty and very tasty recipe.
In Périgord, we named them after Jacquou le Croquant, who was well known in our region, especially for the misery in which he lived.
Indeed, these little cakes are made from very simple but quality raw materials, based in particular on the accents of our soil with the use of walnuts of Périgord which we find in great quantity in our many forests.
