Palmes d'Or du Périgord - Duck Foie Gras Competition - Sorges Truffles
For the second year, we participated in the Popular competition for the best Goose and Duck Foies Gras with Truffles organized on January 26th in Sorges (a gourmet stopover not to be missed in the Périgord Vert on the way to Santiago de Compostela and considered as the Capital of the Truffle) by theAssociation Foie Gras du Périgord. This competition is reserved for professionals and we were part of the 12 artisanal companies that participated in the competition.
This year, the Jury paid particular attention to the quality of the Foie Gras, its texture as well as the enhancement of the truffle and the balance of the seasoning.
We are proud to announce that the 2020 jury of the Palmes d'Or du Périgord has awarded us an additional prize for our Truffled Duck Foie Gras (already awarded last year at this same competition and Bronze Medal at the 2019 Paris Agricultural Competition).
