Description:
It is to the Vignerons des Coteaux du Céou that we owe the renewal of the Vin de Domme, its logo and the imprint of the Terroir.
In 1998: the Vin de Domme was reborn with a surface area of 20 hectares in production.
The grape varieties used to make the Tradition de Domme are Merlot 53%, Cabernet Franc 36%, Malbec 6%, Chardonnay 4% and Semillon 1%.
The Chai, a tool made available to the cooperative on a rental basis, was designed to enhance the image of Domme wine and to ensure quality production, notably with the use of French oak barrels from the Tronçais forest or from central France.
The grapes are harvested manually and mechanically.
The vines are between 5 and 6 years old.
