Château Le Fagé has belonged to one of the oldest family estates in the Bergerac region, the Gerardin family, since the 18th century.

Today, Château Le Fagé produces 48 hectares of Bergerac appellation wines (dry white, red and rosé) on a clay-limestone soil.

All these wines have in common the freshness, the vivacity and the explosion of fruits in mouth.

The Cuvée Prestige is the elder sister of the Cuvée Astrid as it is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

This wine has a good capacity to age and one can feel a lot of maturity in it.

With its beautiful purple colour, intense and brilliant, the Prestige has a spicy nose marked by red fruits and a slight vanilla note. On the palate, the attack is frank, rich and extremely smooth.

Its tannins are smooth and harmonious and leave a nice round finish.

This is a lovely wine, full of maturity and allure with a real roundness.
