Château Le Fagé has belonged to one of the oldest family estates in the Bergerac region, the Gerardin family, since the 18th century.
Today, Château Le Fagé produces on 48 hectares of clay and limestone land, Bergerac appellation wines (dry white, red and rosé). All these wines have in common the freshness, the vivacity and the explosion of fruits in mouth.
The secret of Château Le Fagé's longevity is respect for the terroir and quality.
The Cuvée Astrid in red Bergerac is composed of 100% Merlot.
This wine is characterised by its beautiful bright ruby red colour.
Its nose is fruity with aromas of cherries and strawberries.
In the mouth, the attack is supple and smooth.
It goes perfectly with our Duck or Goose Confits, our flavoured pâtés or our rillettes. It is a perfect wine to sublimate subtle and full-bodied flavours.
This cuvée remains light despite everything. Cuvée Astrid is above all a wine for pleasure!
