Description:
Château Le Fagé belongs to one of the oldest family estates in the Bergerac region, the Gerardin family.
It was at the beginning of the 18th century that their ancestors began to cultivate vines south of Bergerac, located in the Périgord Pourpre region.
Today, Château Le Fagé produces on a clay-limestone soil 48 hectares of Bergerac appellation wines (dry white, red and rosé), Côte de Bergerac (sweet) and Monbazillac.
All these appellations have in common the freshness, the vivacity and the explosion of fruits in mouth.
The secret of Château Le Fagé's longevity is respect for the terroir and quality.
Their dry white Bergerac is made up of 94% Sauvignon and 6% Semillon.
This wine has a white-green colour with a slight yellow hue.
Its nose is lively and floral with notes of boxwood, broom and blackcurrant buds.
The palate is fat, intense with a beautiful vivacity that seduced us.
