Description:
The year 2009 was characterised by warmer and drier than average weather conditions. A particularly sunny August followed by an Indian summer favoured exceptional ripening, the hallmark of a great vintage.
Four passes during the harvest resulted in a perfect harvest that gave this winery the opportunity to achieve a vintage in style.
It is composed of 75% Semillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc and 2% Muscadelle.
Its colour is bright and clear.
The deep golden colour and the first aromatic sensation that this wine gives off are impressive.
On the palate, the wine is honeyed, round and smooth. It has a good concentration, as well as a wide aromatic palette that expresses all the richness of the fruit: aromas of orange peel, honey, honeysuckle, ripe fruit and citrus, toasted notes and a certain minerality.
There are also floral notes of acacia mixed with others of mellow apricot.
The finish is expressive, warm and of good length, bringing back a pleasant freshness with notes of candied orange peel.
