Description:
The walnut oil we offer comes directly from the Vieilcroze Mill located in the Périgord, in Castelnaud La Chapelle. This mill is renowned for the quality of its oil and its organic walnut trees. There are three stages in the production of Périgord walnut oil: The high quality organic walnut kernels are crushed with a stone millstone until a paste is obtained.
The oil is then mixed and heated to a moderate temperature in a large cast iron pan, according to tradition. Finally, the oil is obtained by pressing in a press. The nut oil is decanted for several weeks before being bottled without preservatives or additives.
This oil has many therapeutic properties that are beneficial to health. It also has an exceptional flavour and sweetness that we invite you to discover.
